Cindy Reeh

Principal

Cindy truly enjoys wrangling disparate pieces of information and putting them in order. She has a knack for quickly and seamlessly adapting to a project and getting the job done well. Growing up around the world gave her a chameleon-like ability to fit in to different cultures and connect with people of all backgrounds. It also gave her an ear for language and an appreciation for the complexities and nuances of English. Cindy is currently excited about editing for organizations that strengthen health systems and health services in developing countries.
B efore becoming an editor, Cindy began her career in Washington, DC, at a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving marginalized populations. She settled in Seattle more than a decade ago, where she worked at a nonprofit organization focused on improving health in developing countries. It was there that she learned to edit and found editing to be her greatest strength and source of enjoyment. Cindy has a master’s degree in international development studies with a focus on public health from the George Washington University. In 2010 she earned a certificate in editing from the University of Washington and started her own business. In 2016 she happily joined forces with Kyra and Connie at Tandem Editing.

When Cindy is not editing, she’s probably reading books, exploring the great Pacific Northwest, listening to music, or playing Legos and games with her family.
